Meeting Venue
All sessions will be held at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center 800 Convention Place in downtown Seattle. The Opening Reception (immediately following the Opening Session on Sunday, February 24) will be held at the Museum of Flight.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle bus service will be provided each morning and each afternoon from the official hotels to the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. Shuttle service will also be provided to and from the Opening Reception at the Museum of Flight.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits
The Scientific Program Committee has applied for CME accreditation for the meeting.
Program and Abstracts
All registrants will receive a copy of the Program and Abstracts book as part of the registration fee. Books will be overnight mailed to all US and Canadian registrants. International attendees may pick up their Program and Abstracts on site at the registration desk but can access the complete program and abstracts on line prior to the conference.
Internet Services
Invited sessions from the conference will be webcast and available for viewing for one year. The abstracts and posters will also be posted on the web site. Internet broadcasts of presentations, abstracts, and posters from the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Retrovirus Conferences are archived on this site (click on visit past conferences)
Affiliated Event Meeting Space Requests
Investigator meetings, social functions, and other affiliated meetings may be held in conjunction with the Retrovirus Conference, provided they do not conflict with the official program. Satellite symposia are not permitted. The Conference Secretariat is holding meeting space in all official hotels. To access meeting space over the dates of February 23-28, please submit an Affiliated Event Request Form to the Office of the Conference Secretariat. The deadline for affiliated event requests is January 24, 2002.
